Juan Moreno y Herrera Jimenez (Jean Reno) Born July 30, 1948 in Casablanca, Morocco of Spanish parents. He studied at the Cours Simon drama school in Paris in 1970, which was founded by French actor René Simon in 1925. The 6 2 actor made his stage debut in Ecce Homo in 1974, and his screen debut in 1978, playing a small role in "L'Hypothese du tableau vole". Reno brought a human persona to an amoral character in Bessons La Femme (1991) in which he co-starred with Annie Parillaud, and again as a similar character in Bessons well received action drama Léon (also known as The Professional and Léon: The Professional) along side and in her first starring role. Reno was again nominated for a César for best actor for Léon (1994). In 2005 he appeared in La Tigre e La Neve and Lempire des Loups before co-starring with as a detective in (2006). Reno played Bezu Fache in Ron Howards (2006).
