The "message" of this film is pretty good if you are under twenty, but you'll have to wait for that until the last third of the tale, the cast are like something out of a really bad soap opera, take away all the unclothed scenes and footage of San Francisco, you are left with 45 minutes of amateur B-film that I rate a 2 /5.

I really really hope Eldreamo's review was complete sarcasm, I really do. My friends made me watch this "movie" a few nights ago, for what they called "a good laugh," and let me tell you, I only laughed a few times and it was out of pain and horror.

I am all for crappy, slapstick, not-taking-themselves-seriously types of movies, but there's a line that has to be drawn between those kinds of movies, and the kind of movie that "The Room" is. I don't even want to call it a movie, it's not, it's a disaster. When I read some of the trivia for the movie on IMDB, the first one sealed the deal for me: "Shot simultaneously on 35 mm film and high-definition video. Tommy Wiseau was confused about the differences between the formats, so he used both cameras on the same mount. He also purchased the cameras, instead of renting them as film productions usually do."

That explains everything, this Wiseau character has absolutely NO idea what he is doing, whether it's operating cameras, trying to give direction to his actors, or even speaking the English language.

Please Do NOT waste your time on "The Room," if you have any respect for yourself!
