Just recently downloaded the newest copy out. Had to watch it again. 2nd time blew away the 1st time watched. God, I love all these Marvel/DC Movies. That music that played in the background in the beginning of the film was perfect. I've heard it before but just can't place it. 10/5 LOL, 10/10 smiley smiley smiley

Good movie. Unexcpected movie soundtrack I expected it to be more mythological but surprisingly added a very hip effect to it. Kept plating in my head the entire day and reminded me of Shrek. And no Thor that was not the biggest lightning bolt ever! I have personally seen worse and that may not even the worst biggest lightning bolt ever. It was quite humorous though. Also, based on proper myth Hel, Fenrir and Ïormungandr are Loki's kids not Odin's. Odin had other kids but not Hela or Hel whatever you might call her. But it's a fiction of a fiction so I think we can let it slide. But good overall movie. Good Job👍

Was really worried about this one> considering i heard this movie was JOKE CITY w/endless comedic lines left & right.. I waz actually pleasantly surprised.. Yes some of the joking dialogues was a little over the top. . Its not uncommon in movie trilogies/series that the "humor bar" rises up w/every new installment etc.. Even if those characters aren't orig portrayed that way (such as these thor comic bks) ^Regardless & imo- I didnt think it was 2 overbearing & it wrkd well alongside the characters/story in this 3rd installment series.

~Great special effects> OF COURSE...Loved how they added Led Zeppelin's "IMMIGRANT SONG" to the mix
(wch is about> Norse Mythology/Valhalla ). So that was actually a good plug in 2the movie soundtrack & fit perfectly..
~ I also thought the cameos by MATT DAMON, SAM NEIL & big bro LUKE HEMSWORTH , was an added comical BONUS.. Also Cate Blanchett made an excellent Hela no doubt...
~Overall I really enjoyed this alot better than the sequel to thor..Plus being a MCU movies fanatic. This one didn't disappoint..Was more enjoyable for me -than most trilogy/series movies etc.. ..
.
**That being said I give it 9/10.. Can't wait for Infinity Wars to come outsmiley..

Was an action comedy for sure.. Read couple graphic novel stories, not how I pictured the marvel movie of Thor's Ragnarok but not bad though. Pretty similar.. 4ish smiley /5 smiley ? I remember some cartoons and comic lines about Hulk going to war world and ending up Valhalla and almost destroying it. but that's not this..

Great movies. Good balance on action and comedy which imo wasn't forced. But blended in seamlessly.but I will say a bit out off character for Thor. But that's not a bad thing.
Thanks twomovies. smiley

I'm not a big fan of superhero stuff. I can manage a bit of Batman and Spiderman but I'm always back of the queue when it comes to so much X-Men, Fab 4 and other such Marvel movies. That said, this Thor film was more than amazing. Totally recommended.

This was the perfect amount of comedy in a hero film, for a change of pace. From all the haters of comedy, reviewers, I was expecting this film to be over saturated with it, to the point of ridiculous, but after actually seeing it, I thought the comedy was perfectly placed, without getting in the way of the action, and seriousness of the movie. it's a freakin super hero movie, for crying out loud, so how serious did people really expect it to be? I enjoyed this movie far more than the last few MCU films. This is one I'll actually remember for a while, unlike Spiderman home coming, along with a few others, that I still don't know what they were really about. And the last Avengers movie was just all over the place. This one, I honestly have to say, was much better than I expected.

Not bad at all. Got to go see it now on the big screen. I don't watch these movies here to judge quality or comment on light or dark or sound but I also don't care if someone else does to get their kicks. I want to know if a movie here is something I want to spend money on in a theater. I appreciate the effort and time of these uploaders. I say keep up the good work and thank you guys. This movie is worth watching and looks well worth the price of a ticket! Thank you twomovies as well.

i agree - this is a bit to 'light' all through that the weightier scenes don't feel so weighty either... add to that a pantomime villainess.. still good entertainment though.
oh, the should not have given hulk so many lines?
again, to much comedy..

pps. sorry about double post : /

I really liked this. I like all of the MCU movies. I think they did overdo the comedic aspects of it. I like how the MCU movies are funny in parts but maybe a little too much in this one. It's like they were trying to make it more like Guardians of the Galaxy than a Thor movie. It is still an excellent watch and that is my only complaint with this movie, the rest is complete awesomeness.

Good quality for a cam also. Was pleasantly surprised with how good that was. Thanks to all the uploaders!

So anyway, I like Thor. Used to read every magazine I could when I was a teen. I paid to see the movie. Sorry but this movie was probably okay if you were a kid or maybe a tween.

POSSIBLE SPOILER? THIS DISCUSSES THE COMICS, FROM WHICH THE MOVIE GOT MOST OF ITS TWISTS AND PLOTS, SO IT CAN BE CONSIDERED SPOILER I GUESS.

Basically it was a mixture of Walt Simonson's run on Thor from the mid to late 80s, where Thor fought Surtur and later Hela, and she broke his hammer, to include the reference of Loki using powerful technology to magically turn Thor into a Frog for several issues. Simonson also created the alien Beta Ray Bill, who became the first being to not just lift Thor's hammer but gain his powers. A picture of Bill is seen on the outside of The Collector's palace in the movie.

The second part was that of Thor comics in the 2000's when he becomes King of Asgard, and loses an eye, but instead of lightning (I'm going from memory) he instead gets Odin's "Odin power" (a power created by Simonson in his 70's debut, meant to explain Odin's near omnipotence). Asgard is destroyed, by some kind of battle (not from Surtur), and the Asgardians are forced to live on Earth.

I agree with Khork. I didn't think the acting was bad so much as the script they had to work with. Thor is not without his one-liners but even the Hulk who is usually at least just as serious as Thor was mostly comedy. I can't wait to see it with no Italian in it but again I agree the fight scenes and CGI made the movie this time.

Not a bad movie, but i really didn't like the jokes or one-liners that was made thru out the movie, in the comics that i have read about Thor he is not a jokester or funny man and i thought that took away from the real persona that was Thor thru out all these years!! 4/5!! some pretty good fights and the CGI was awesome, that is what made the movie pretty good, becaUsE THE acting was not that good, too include Chris also!!

@Khorkalaba19 i kind of feel like with these Marvel movies, you need to think of these characters as humans instead of comic book heroes and that hanging around the avengers has brought out each heroes comedic side. that being said, w how much im hearing about that, they might be trying to over do it a bit which i hope isnt the case but i havent seen it yet to judge.

cant wait to watch this but will be waiting for better quality

Whoa. And it is in English to boot. Thor comics have, for obvious reasons, went in a different direction on what happens during Ragnarok. I suspect that the film will go differently than both.

POSSIBLE SPOILER: BTW I HAVEN'T SEEN THE FILM YET.

For those that care I will summarize the Ragnarok from the Myths and the comics. So basically in the Myths, Ragnarok starts after Balder is killed due to Loki's treachery. This ends up freeing all being s from their vows and bonds, especially monsters and the undead. Hela leads the undead and giants against the gods. Loki and Heimdall kill each other. Odin is killed by the Great Wolf Fenris and Thor finally kills The Midgard Serpent but dies after it vomits its venom on him in the process. After all is laid to waste in Heaven, The Fire Giant Surtur destroys the universe with fire. After that most scholars believe that Christians modified the myth to sound more like Revelations. So after a time everything grew back. It was revealed that Odin hid a male and female mortal from the destruction, as well as Thor's sons and his brothers. Balder too was either hidden or came back from the dead (ala Christ). From there mortals and gods both experienced an eternity of a Golden Age.

The comics largely followed that (I'm going by memory) except one version had Thor and Loki battling to the death, while another had Loki run away when the Midgard Serpent came and attempted to destroy it with some powerful weapon, but failed. Still another claimed that the Mythical Norse gods's Ragnarok actually birthed the current "Asgardians". It says that Odin planned to save the life force of all of the gods and monsters. The deviation is that Surtur only destroyed Asgard When Asgard rejuvenated itself, Odin's brothers and Thor's sons came out of hiding. Thors brothers found Odins Heaven spear and proclaimed themselves rulers, while Thor's sons found Thor's hammer, but proclaimed wars are no longer need and threw it to Asgard where it eventually became Rhinesgold and set the scene of the well known play "Der Ring des Nibelungen" and "Götterdämmerung" and the characters Siegmund and Siegfried, who in this case were real. Back to Odin's brothers. As they grabbed the spear, they disappeared and Odin stood in their place. After than he brought all of the gods and monsters back from the dead. Why the monsters? What good or gods if they don't evil to fight against? Still most recent depiction of Ragnarok was that there have always been Ragnarok's and the Gods have always died and been reborn. Such a thing was done by a handful of older gods, referred as "They who sit above in shadow". They created the cyclical events so they could gain the gods powers every time they died. This lead to Thor fighting them and breaking the Cycle. Therefore should the gods have another Ragnarok, it would be a final one.

There you go.

@MPA2000 Awesome, simplistic and hit the nail on the head depiction of mythology and religion correlation I've seen to date smiley
